1.Alkaline electrolytic polishing process for aluminum alloy die casting

The research on the alkaline polishing solution system was carried out, and the effects of corrosion inhibitors and viscosity agents on the polishing effect were compared.The alkaline solution system with good polishing effect was successfully obtained, and the first time was to reduce the operating temperature and prolong the solution. An additive that has a long life and an improved polishing effect. The results show that adding appropriate additives to NaOH solution can produce good polishing effect. Exploratory experiments also showed that the reflectivity of aluminum surface could reach 90% after using NaOH solution of glucose under certain conditions. However, due to unstable factors in the experiment, which needs further studies. The feasibility of using pulse electropolishing method to polish aluminum under alkaline conditions was explored. The results showed that the leveling effect of constant voltage electropolishing could be achieved by pulse electropolishing method, but its flattening speed is slow.

Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the chemical polishing process of aluminum triacid, especially the role of nitric acid. The main role of nitric acid in the chemical polishing of aluminum is to suppress pitting corrosion and improve polishing brightness. Combined with the chemical polishing test of pure mono-phosphoric acid, it is concluded that the special substance added in mono-phosphoric acid should be able to inhibit the spot corrosion, alleviate general corrosion,at the same time, have a great leveling and bright effect.
